William L. Pearson

William Lawrence Pearson, age 86, of Wilmington, DE, formerly of Stratford, NJ, passed away on August 15, 2023.

William was a graduate of St. Joseph’s University, where he received a B.S. in Business Administration. He had a career in sales and business analysis in the insurance and technology industry.

William had a strong commitment to Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was very involved in various book clubs throughout Wilmington.  He also spent time volunteering at Delaware Technical Community College, where he helped teach technology.

William is predeceased by his parents, Mary and Charles Pearson, and two of his siblings, Anthony Pearson and Catherine Arena.  He is survived by his five children, William Pearson of Lower Gwynedd, PA, Stephen Pearson of Chadds Ford, PA, Sharon Tsao of Moorestown, NJ, Michael Pearson of West Chester, PA, and David Pearson of Doylestown, PA.  He is survived by three of his siblings: Terry Lavanture of Cherry Hill, NJ, Patty Ruggieri of Timonium, MD, and Richard Pearson of New York, NY.

Funeral Services

Funeral Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in William’s name to the Ministry of Caring, 115 E. 14th Street Wilmington, DE 19801, or at Ministry of Caring.
