Walter Edward Sullivan

Walter Edward Sullivan, 84, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Wednesday April 23, 2025, at Wilmington Hospital.

Walter graduated from the French Language School of Paris, before earning his master’s at Lincoln University. He worked for the state of Delaware, handling child support enforcement. He also worked at the Horizon House in PA, as well as the Philadelphia Psychiatric Center and Hospital.

Walter is survived by his wife, Harline Dennison, as well as his four siblings, three children, and two stepchildren.

Funeral Services

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday May 9, 2025, at 1:00pm at Chester Bethel Cemetery, 2619 Foulk Road Wilmington, Delaware 19810.

Memorial contributions can be made in Walter’s name to an organization of your choosing.

Child Support Services - I met Walter Sullivan, and he took me under his wings -wealth of knowledge and financial advised - And to this day, all that I had learned from him still applies.
