Teresita Z. Macabuag

Teresita Z. Macabuag, age 80, of Delaware, formerly of Virginia Beach, Virginia, passed away on January 26th, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital.

She attended Maryknoll Academy from her elementary years through high school graduation.  She went on to attend St. Theresa’s College. After school, she worked at Far East Bank and Trust Company, beginning as a teller, before working her way up to branch manager.

Teresita is predeceased by her husband of many years, Jose Macabuag.

She is survived by her three children, Dino Jose Macabuag of Delaware, Donna Teresa Macabuag of The Philippines, and Karlo Jose Macabuag of Australia.

Funeral Services

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday February 10, 2024, at Chandler Funeral Home, 2506 Concord Pike at 3:00pm.  Friends are invited to call upon the family beginning at 2:00pm.

    Our condolences to our cousins Dino, Tessa, Carlo and their respective families. And to all our extended familles who have known and loved her. I thank God for giving us Tita Tessie who held a special place in my heart. She had been there as one of the highlights of my childhood growing up. I had fond memories of her most especially when me and my cousin Dennis would have sleepovers to play with our cousin Dino. Thank you for your kindness and guidance through the years. Please give hugs to my mom and dad for me when you meet them in Heaven. And tell Jesus that I love Him too!
