Sandeep Panwalker

He loved to walk in the woods, to smell the fresh air and the scents of forests. The twinkle in his eye and the dimple on one cheek informed us how much he enjoyed the simple joys of life. That life was cut short when he left this earth on July 21, 2021 before he had had a chance to live a full life. Born in Nyeri, Kenya in 1968 he arrived in the US with his parents in 1971. He loved America and the people he met. Quiet, gentle, humble and handsome, Sandeep never raised his voice in anger, never spoke harshly to others and enjoyed the simple things in life. Photography and cooking became his passion and he eagerly served his culinary delights to those he loved. His dream of travel to new and exciting places was shattered when he was hit by a car as he walked home on July 21, 2021, just a bit short of his destination. He played the trombone in his school band in Chicago and loved Billy Joel concerts.

Those who knew him loved him deeply and are heart broken. The tears do not stop flowing. He was preceded in death by Asha, his beloved mother. He is survived by his father Anand and a host of dear friends and relatives.

Instead of flowers and if desired, please make a donation to your favorite charity.

Sandeep was always so kind. He is a good soul. He loved live music, food (especially spicy) and craft beer. He had so much fun taking pictures of all three as well. Sandeep was and always will be a part of our argilla family. I will miss his smile and also sharing my Halloween costumes with him because I always had to many. I will miss his bad jokes and silly posts on our page and of course his kindness. Thank you Sandeep for sharing your life with us. Myself and the crew will miss seeing you. We hope his family can find peace through this hard time. He was definitely loved by many!

Dearest Anand The last time I heard your voice you told me Sandeep had been involved in an accident and he was “no more”. That phrase has remained in my mind, and will be there forever. I wish I had done or said more to comfort you at the time. I will talk to you when you are able to. Sandeep was a charming young man, always smiling. He got on well with members of his age group. I remember the times when he used to come to England with Kusum-tai and go boating or to Southend on Sea with Smita and Nina. He will be so sorely missed. I don’t have enough words to express my sorrow. Love from Sharad On behalf of Sudha, Smita, Nina and family
