He loved to walk in the woods, to smell the fresh air and the scents of forests. The twinkle in his eye and the dimple on one cheek informed us how much he enjoyed the simple joys of life. That life was cut short when he left this earth on July 21, 2021 before he had had a chance to live a full life. Born in Nyeri, Kenya in 1968 he arrived in the US with his parents in 1971. He loved America and the people he met. Quiet, gentle, humble and handsome, Sandeep never raised his voice in anger, never spoke harshly to others and enjoyed the simple things in life. Photography and cooking became his passion and he eagerly served his culinary delights to those he loved. His dream of travel to new and exciting places was shattered when he was hit by a car as he walked home on July 21, 2021, just a bit short of his destination. He played the trombone in his school band in Chicago and loved Billy Joel concerts.
Those who knew him loved him deeply and are heart broken. The tears do not stop flowing. He was preceded in death by Asha, his beloved mother. He is survived by his father Anand and a host of dear friends and relatives.
