Ruth J. Hausheer

On Christmas Day, December 25th, 2018, Ruth J. Hausheer passed away at the age of 91. Born, in Brooklyn New York, to Elizabeth & Clinton P. Jones, Ruth was raised in Staten Island, New York and graduated from Chestnut Hill College with a BS in Sociology. Ruth married Richard C. Hausheer in 1951, and together they raised their eight children in Scotch Plains, New Jersey. She loved children, dogs, grandchildren, granddogs, great grandchildren & great granddogs.

Ruth cherished bringing her family to Wolfeboro, New Hampshire for 30+ years of family vacations filled with sailboat races, swimming and blueberry muffins. She was a founding member of the Bailey’s Crescent Lake Yacht & Cocktail Club.

Once again with her husband of 56 years, Ruth is survived by her daughters: Suzanne Babich and husband Michael, Marie LoPresto and husband Paul, Bernadette Meehan and husband John, and her sons Charles and wife Sheila Sweeney, Paul and wife Debbie, Christopher and wife Nancy, Gerard and wife Mary, William and wife Pamela. “Gramapoway / Grandma Jellybean” is also lovingly remembered by her 18 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
