Rosalea K. Zdinak

Rosalea K. Zdinak, age 89, passed away on March 13, 2024, at home in Wilmington, Delaware, surrounded by her four children.

Rosalea was preceded in death by Pete, her husband of 66 years, and her parents Frank and Mary (Kossky) Bialkowski. Rosalea is survived by her son Paul and wife Deborah of Belleville, Wisconsin, son Michael of Wilmington, Delaware, daughter Mary Robinson and husband Dale of Chesterfield, Missouri, and their children Theresa, Emily and spouse Dee Fuller, and Michael, and son Peter and wife Maureen of Tewksbury, Massachusetts, and their son Chris. She also leaves behind many nephews and nieces who will miss her unconditional love.

Rosalea met Pete in Weirton, West Virginia, where they married and began raising their family. Pete’s job moved their family often, living in North Reading, Massachusetts, and Stilwell, Kansas, before settling in Wilmington. Rosalea enjoyed bowling, flower gardening, and her two favorite soap operas As the World Turns and Guiding Light. Rosalea was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority from her youth in Weirton to her senior years in Wilmington. Rosalea was a wonderful cook who amazed her family by preparing delicious meals faster than a short-order cook. Most of all, Rosalea loved spending time with her husband, family, and friends.

Condolences

    Angela Mauceri writes,
Rosalea was a very important person in my life. I always felt that she came into my life for a reason. We laughed often about some of our crazy adventures. She was not judgemental and taught me how to be that way. Rest in peace my special friend 🥰🙏
