Rodrigo Diaz-Torres, age 28, of Wilmington, Delaware passed away suddenly on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.
Rodrigo was born in Uriangato, Guanajuato Mexico, son of Hector Diaz-Jaimes and Hilda Torres D’Diaz. He grew up in Wilmington, graduating from Delcastle Technical High School. His last memories were very significant to him as he had traveled to Mexico and focused time on himself. He was so very special to everyone he met, while being reserved he was always open with a big heart to his family and friends. He loved art, fashion and photography.
Rodrigo is now on a new journey, and we are comforted knowing he is a free spirit, where there is no pain, no time, no judgements and full of joy. Rest in peace lovely son, brother, uncle and friend. Someday we will all be together again.
In addition to his parents, Rodrigo is survived by his sisters; Yaz Diaz-Torres and Lili Diaz-Torres, his brothers; Juni Diaz-Torres and Roy Diaz-Torres, his nieces and nephews; Amy, Axel, Matteo and Dominico, his godparents, Miguel Diaz-Jaimes and Irma Almanza, and many aunts, uncles cousins and friends.
A viewing will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm at St. Rocco’s Church, 313 Sunny Dell Road, Avondale, PA 19311. A Funeral Mass will begin at 6:30 pm.
Interment will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 10:00 am at Silverbrook Cemetery, 3300 Lancaster Avenue, Wilmington, DE 19805.
