Though I didn't know Bob well, I met his wife Beth at the beginning of the Covid pandemic as she was walking in our neighborhood. She has been in my prayers as she battled through cancer. She was always writing about how her dear husband cared for her during this time. He was a great example of a loving husband. He will be missed in Galena, as I frequently saw him walking their dog. Beth, praying for God's comfort and love during this time and thankful that we have the promised Hope of Heaven. Thankful for the salvation given by our Lord Jesus Christ.

I was so sad to learn of the passing of Bob or "Chip" as my dad lovingly called him. Bob & Beth rented an apartment from my parents, Ed & Vivian Beitzel, and they were one of the sweetest families ever! Bob always had a smile on his face! My aunt Roxanne Floto taught at CV School District with Ron Chipriano, and I couldn't believe the news when she called me this morning. Beth and family, you will be in my daily prayers for strength and healing in the days ahead. Beth, I am the only survivor in my immediate family. Most recently I lost my brother Greg in 2021. I'm sure he was waiting by the heavenly gates to greet your loving husband.❤️❤️❤️❤️
