    Richard C. Kiger writes,
Ralph and I attended the same law school, but became friends independent of that connection. I liked him and always enjoyed talking with him. He found out that I like photographs of ships, especially sail ships, and so we often spoke about our photographs and books of photographs, and on and on. We haven't had any contact for a long time, which is my loss. My heart goes out to his family, as I say good-bye for now to my friend. Richard Kiger

Darlene and Lisa: I am sad to hear that Ralph has passed away but glad I got to see him not too long ago. He was a wonderful man with a great sense of humor and a sharp tongue when necessary. I will never forget your wedding Lisa nor will I ever forget how much he helped me start Jessop's Tavern with legal and personal advice (especially when he told me I had "put the cart before the horse!) I and many others will miss him! My heart goes out to your whole family. Tika Day
