Mary Land

Mary Land, age 84, of Wilmington, Delaware passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at her home.

She was born in Trainer PA. to the late William and Marion Lamb.

She was preceded in death by her husband Leon Land and her brother William Lamb. She is survived and will be missed by her sons Leon Land (Patricia), Robert Land (Theresa), Michael Land (Kathryn).

Mary’s life was full of love with her family. She was devoted and caring wife and beloved and nurturing mother helping support her family as a cashier until retirement. She loved to spend time playing with her dog Cody, playing games on the computer, building puzzles and occasionally a game or two of scrabble. You would never find her without a crossword book; she said “they kept her brain active”. She enjoyed yard work and feeding the birds and squirrels every morning.

Burial will be held privately and a Celebration of Life will be held in June for the family.
