Marilyn Lee Powell

Marilyn Lee Powell, age 88, of Wilmington Delaware passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at her home with her family beside her.

Marilyn was born in Berlin, New Jersey, daughter of the late Stacey Hill and Dorothy Galloway Hill. In the early 1950’s , Marilyn was a dancer on the Paul Whiteman’s TV Teen Show. She had worked as a secretary in the mortgage industry. She was a member of retired oil workers and the secretary for the past few years. After that, she spent all of her time as a homemaker, being completely devoted to her family.

In addition to her parents, Marilyn is predeceased by her daughter, Donna Lee Powell. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Benjamin G. Powell, her son, Brian D. Powell (Tina) of Bethany Beach, her daughter, Cathy E. Ramsey (Jerry) of Wilmington, her sister, Patricia Kantner of Boothwyn, PA., 4 grandchildren; Sean (Gia), Matthew, Meghan, and Linde (Nathan), and 2 great-grandchildren.
