Margaret A. David

Margaret David, age 96, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2023.

She was born in 1927 in Kearney, New Jersey. She was the second oldest of 5 children. After graduating from high school, she went to work for TWA in their office. She met her husband Vernon when she was 21 and got married soon after. They were married for 60 years before his passing. Margaret taught at Goldey Beacom College and at Delaware Tech in Wilmington. She also worked in the Prison Ministry and held various board positions over the years. In addition, she was the past President of the Delaware Genealogical Society.

She was predeceased by her husband Vernon and her son Douglas. Margaret is survived by her son Brian and his wife Niury, by her daughter Christina and her husband Jack. She is also survived by grandchildren Neil, Brian, Nina, Alex, James, Margaret and great grandchildren Lincoln and Marie Belle.

Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Faithful Friends or the Sunday Breakfast Mission.
