Mimi & Jane: My sincerest condolences. Kathy and I were quite tight in high school & as Mimi might remember we dated for awhile. Didn't see each other much after that. We both went our separate ways. That's the way life is. Know she had her health problems over the past years & in January her husband (Marvin) left her. That was probably the last straw & she started to fold the tent up to leave this world. Be strong she would have wanted you to be just that.

I was Kate's house-mate before Marvin arrived. We used to joke that the leftovers from her wonderful meals were the only thing that kept me alive for a decade. She NEVER ate leftovers! Will treasure her kindness forever. Regrettably the Covid-19 kept us apart near the end. SAD!
