John J. Karpovich, II

It is with heavy hearts that we have to say goodbye to a loving son, father, brother and friend. John J. Karpovich, II of Wilmington passed away on November 23, 2018.

John graduated from John Dickinson High School and attended Goldy Beacom College. He worked for Verizon in the Communications Department.

He enjoyed physical activity. He liked fishing, football, his dogs and cooking.

John was preceded in death by his father John J. Karpovich, Sr. He is survived by his mother Theresa Karpovich, his children Jessica Marie and John Joseph III, his siblings Michele Karpovich-Staib (Ron), Felicia Paris, and Alicia Wiest (Rob), many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and Michele Miller-Karpovich, the mother of his children and friend.

Funeral Services

 

Relatives and friends may call at the St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 7200 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin, Delaware 19707 on Tuesday November 26, 2018 from 10-11 am. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 am. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions made in his name to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund, 100 West 10th Street, Suite 1103, Wilmington, Delaware 19801 or the above named church.
