John J. Breen

John J. Breen, age 81 of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on February 6, 2021.

John was a big civil war enthusiast and loved spending time up in Gettysburg touring the battlefield. He also enjoyed collecting Lionel trains. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen P. Breen. John is survived by his 5 children, Michael and his wife Pam of Landenberg, PA, Kevin and his wife Jennifer of Doylestown, PA, Kim Risbon and her husband Scott of Downingtown, PA, Kathleen Baldo and her husband Jim of Kennett Square, PA, John Joseph Jr. and his wife Stephanie of Middletown, DE: 1 sister Kathleen Sweeney of Nashville TN; 9 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be private due to COVID-19 restrictions.

    Grew up with Jackie Breen from St. George's grade school in Glenolden PA, through St. James High School, Chester, PA. We got together on several occasions during the years. Jack was always a kind, gently friend. He will be missed by all lhis friends. God bless Jack, rest in peace.

    I worked with Kathy at the Coiffure and well loved her and miss her still . That is when I meet Jack that what we called him . What a guy he could fix anything . He came to Sam's house when Sam would have all the girls that worked for him. I am so glad we all had that fun in are life with your mother and father . May they both rest in peace and we just lost Sam so he is with them again to .Grace J. Dillon
