Jeffrey C. Foth

Jeffrey Charles Foth, age 51, of Newark, Delaware passed away unexpectedly in his home on Monday,  May 2, 2022.

Jeff was born in Chester, Pennsylvania to Gail and Robert Foth. He attended Delcastle Technical High School (1989). He was an active member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local Union 19 for 26 years.

Most would say that Jeff had a larger than life personality. He lived for the day and reminded everyone around him to do the same. There was no doubt that he was the life of the party.  He had a kind heart and genuinely cared for others. His beautiful energy lit up every room he walked into and that energy was felt by everyone that surrounded him. We truly lost a one of a kind man.

Jeff wholeheartedly believed that family was the most important thing in the world, showing it by fiercely loving and protecting them. He was a devoted and loving father, son, uncle and brother. To say he loved his daughter is an understatement. They had an unconditional love for each other since the day she was born.

Jeff is survived by his daughter, Jordan; mother Gail Foth; father Robert Foth; brothers Timothy Foth, Robert Foth and Matthew Foth; sister Angela Foth and many loving nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at the Chandler Funeral Home, 2506 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE 19803. A visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Lawncroft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.

In lieu of flowers, Jeff would have wanted donations to be made to the ASPCA https://www.aspca.org/ways-to-give.

Jeff was always the first person to step up to help someone, whether he knew them or not. And wow did he love Jordan. I don't ever remember a conversation where he didn't mention her and how proud he was to be her Dad. We'll miss his smile for sure. Keeping his family in my thoughts and prayers. Let the perpetual light shine upon him and may he rest in peace.

Jeff was a part of our family (Sciocchetti/Marroni) for three years and he was a blast to be around. He brought my husband Jeff and daughter Gracie and niece Ava to Clementine Park where they spent the day riding rides and eating all of the junk food they could. He always made you feel special. Just an all around good guy. He will be missed.

He was a great friend and always laughed and smiled whenever he was around. Many great memories growing up and playing any and all kinds of games and having so many adventures with him and his brothers and other friends , i remember those days well and often reflect on them knowing they were the best days and the best friend and friends a kid could have in those days. Rest in peace my old friend , know that you were loved and will always be remembered. 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Prayers for the entire foth family

Such terrible news for me to hear. Sometimes Jeff and I would lose touch for years but when we saw each other again it was like we never missed a day. It saddened me that I had not seen him for a while and now it's too late. He was genuine, kind and always tried to do the right thing. He helped me with many projects I had at my condo then the house I built because that's the person he was. He was a REAL friend to me and many others. He loved his daughter and his family and he will be missed by many including myself. RIP Jeff

Jeff... Jeff... Jeff!!! I met him years ago at the refinery and he was a dedicated hole watch, every day except Fridays... That's when he picked up his daughter... We later reconnected on Facebook and he was truly a Trump fan... We had some heated debates along with Rob Pontius... They would last all day, probably why I lost my job working for Tim... But only the good die young, and except for the Trump thingy, you're still alright with me... Rest in Paradise... Give Rob a pat on the back for me...

So many damn good memories Jeffro with Timmy,Matt and of course,Angela. But the funniest and one of the best memories I have of Claymont Delaware was with you and Timmy. I apologize Tim and, sorry Ms Foth, but, Jeff, Tim and myself were trying to get somebody to get us a 'beer run' one summer night and Jeff asked a guy going into George's bar and he said something wise to Jeff. Wrong move! Jeff said something back and the guy, who was older than us,pulled out a knife! Well,Jeff says (as he's reaching into his back pocket), "Oh, you wanna play with knives do ya?" By the time Jeff got to the word play in that sentence, the guy had dropped his knife turned and was already, full sprint running away, leaving his car mind you in the parking lot and Jeff starts chasing this guy down the MIDDLE of Darley Road with.....A Blue 'UNBREAKABLE' COMB!!!! Poor guy, screaming for someone to help him while me and Timmy are laughing so hard that I believe it still hurts to this day! I don't know if you remember Timmy but those were good times. In all seriousness, Jeff you were one of the good guys. A friend, confidant, an angel on my one shoulder devil on the other, you were part of me and I believe everyone you met has a little part of you in them. But it feels like that part's been ripped out of my chest right now. You definitely were and are a brother not by blood but,by spirit and a bond that, was real and still is. And,meeting you I'm sure everybody had a bond with you brother. I never met anyone that didn't like you and that's the truth. So,Say hi to my family up there all right and please say hi to my wife. We'll see each other again, that I promise. See you soon brother.
