    Girard T Smith Jr writes,
Mrs. McKiernan was a dear and good friend of my parents, Peggy and Jerry Smith, and our family: I remember her being an attentive and cheery friend to my mother when she was fearful and depressed over a cancer diagnosis in the 1970s. (My mother is still alive today at age 92.) I remember Mrs. McKiernan as a positive, caring and generous person. On behalf of the Smith family, may she rest in peace. Rod Smith

Chris Slater Cook and Rick Slater writes,
Our Mom, Coral Slater, and Mrs. McKiernan were the best of friends in the 60s and 70s. We visited and did a lot of things together. I remember most of all her sparkling laughter and cheerful eyes. Her home was always a happy place to visit. Prayers and love to David, Joyce, and Joan. Your Mom was a great lady.
