Condolences

    Jay Lund writes,
My mother was a wonderful person. She had a long life of adventure, travel, social engagement, and devotion to family and duty. She was very active in garden clubs and sailing for most of her life. Her offshore sailing ended with the hurricane we experienced in 1975 on the way to the Bahamas, but she continued to enjoy sailing on Chesapeake Bay after that. The family is thankful for her many friends and for the care she received from the Country House staff in Greenville, DE during the many years she lived there.

Robert Lund lit a candle and writes,
I will fondly remember the many good times I had with Janet in the 1990s when my spouse and I would drive up to Wilmington from Chapel Hill, North Carolina for the weekends. She kept me sane through my graduate school years!
