James M. Wylie

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a very special man, James M. Wylie, 84. He passed away on September 16, 2018 after a 9 month battle with renal cancer.

James was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Those who were lucky enough to know him were truly blessed. Even the doctors and nurses who treated him, will greatly miss his “Scottish wit!”

James is survived by his wife Marilyn, son James William, daughter Maggie, son in law John, grandchildren Adam and Caitlyn, brother Abie and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 1pm to 4pm at Chandler Funeral Home, 2506 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE 19803.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks to make a donation to: Helen Graham Cancer and Research Institute, 4701 Ogletown Stanton Road, Newark, DE 19713.
