James C. Wang

James C. Wang, age 87, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025.

James was a graduate of Fu Chung High School in Taipei, Taiwan in 1959 and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from National Taiwan University. He later completed his Master of Science degree at New York University in 1979.

James had a long and successful career in IT and as a computer analyst with Allied Chemical in Philadelphia from 1983 to 1997 and later with Sunoco from 1997 to 2001.

James is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Margaret K. Wang. He is further survived by his nieces, Susan Hwa, Karen Hwa, and Nancy Hwa, his great-nieces, Eva and Olivia Hwa, and his brother-in-law, Stephen Hwa.

James’ gentle spirit and kind heart will be remembered and missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

A service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 11:00am at Chandler Funeral Home in Wilmington, DE.
