I will always remember my beautiful Uncle Jimmy. He showed me how you love and respect the person you marry. He and Aunt Isabelle opened their heart and home to me when I needed to be in Philly for cancer treatments. I so loved his respect for me as a nurse many times asking advice. But the most beautiful thing I will always remember is the love he had for Walter, Stephanie and his true and forever love for Aunt Isabelle. Always in my heart...I will miss you.

I was so saddened to receive the call from Isabelle on Thanksgiving morning! Jim you were kind, welcoming and accepting! I will remember the many nights gathered around your dinner table having cheese and wine relaxing and chatting. You will surely be missed by many! Thank you for all your kindness and generosity. My sympathy to Isabelle and Walter. I know your leaving will affect them the most. Your quiet soul was a rock for them to lean.

Dear Isabelle and Walter, Please accept my apology for this delayed note, but after speaking with Isabelle today, and just learning of Jim's death, I thought a few words were in order. I’m terribly saddened to hear of Jim's death and I must say, I regret letting time pass and not seeing him over the past few years. You both have my deepest sympathy. Jim was an extraordinarily special person who touched many lives. I was so lucky to have him as a friend and neighbor, you all made our life on Osage so much fun, and the porch parties were epic! I’ll always be grateful for the integral part Jim played in my life, he gave me sage advice always. I will miss our conversations and visits, but cherish all my memories of him. Isabelle and Walter, I will keep you both in my thoughts and prayers. With both sympathy and warm regards, Sharrieff Ali

I did not know Jim, I am his niece. My father was Jim's brother Paul. I know that this may never be seen by anyone but if it is and if you want to please contact me by email. My condolences.
