Jack D. Thomaswick, age 94, of Ford City, Pennsylvania and recently of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Heartland Hospice at Pike Creek Manor Care.
Jack was the son of the late Blaze and Bernice Glenn Thomaswick. He left high school early to join the WWII effort in 1943 and served in the U.S. Navy, including at Normandy, from 1943 to 1946. He was the best of the Greatest Generation.
Jack is predeceased by his wife of 66 years, Beverly (2013), his daughter Cheryl Reitnauer (2002) and his son-in-law Richard Reitnauer (1982.). He is survived by his daughters, Shelley Morrison (Eric) of Wilmington, DE, Shauna Wujek (Joe) of Littleton, CO, his son Shane Thomaswick of Manorville, PA, his grandsons Shawn Lindsey, Kent Lindsey, Andrew Reitnauer (Jassivy), Brett Thomaswick (Jessica), Blaze Wujek (Stephanie), Bryce Wujek (Carly), 2 great-grandsons, Jack, Victor and 2 great-granddaughters, Hope and Grace.
