Hilda Lee Williams

Hilda Lee Williams, born in 1936 in Front Royal, Virginia, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2021 at Regal Heights Nursing Home, Hockessin, Delaware.

She was the daughter of Lyle and Helen Laing and was next to last of 6 daughters. Hilda survived a horrific accident as a child and was not expected to make it, but she did. She lived her life her way.

Hilda lived most of her life in Wilmington, Delaware. She lived in Sanford, Virginia from 1980 through 1998. She had many jobs throughout her life lastly in custodial services at the NASA base on Wallops Island, Virginia. She retired in 1998 and moved back to Delaware in 2000. She enjoyed watching wrestling, thrift store shopping and yard sales. She was a member of Saint Francis Life Program on the riverfront of Wilmington DE.

She was widowed for many years from Randolph Williams, her husband of 30 plus years. She is survived by her 3 children; David Ritter and his wife Julie of Stanton, Delaware, Randy Williams of Wilmington, Delaware with whom she lived and Elizabeth Taylor of Chincoteague, Virginia; grandchildren Tiffany Ritter of New Castle, Delaware, Nancy Rodriguez and partner Dave Edwards of Bear, Delaware, Mayla Ritter of Stanton, Delaware, Jeffery Taylor and wife Marcela of Charleston, South Carolina, Jade Taylor-Collazo and husband John of Longneck, Delaware, Victor LeBron II of Wilmington Delaware, Jolie Lecato of Chincoteague, Virginia and great grandchildren Mary Sullivan-Ritter, Angel Rodriguez, Aiden and Oliver Taylor. She is also survived by many in-laws including Wayne and Linda Williams and family of Stanton, Delaware.
