Gwynne R. Meloni-Shamers

Gwynne R. Meloni-Shamers, age 73, of Wilmington, Delaware, died peacefully on Monday, October 25, 2021 at home with her Husband, David.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Gwynne enjoyed nothing more than entertaining family and friends with her twin sister Lynne at their homes. Later in life, Gwynne loved long phone conversations, even perfecting emojis in the last few years.

Gwynne is survived by her husband of 33 years, David Shamers; her son Nick Meloni, granddaughter Lily Meloni, brothers Kurt Doelze and Rex Doelze, nephews Will Doelze and Daniel Seichepine, nieces Michelle Magalon, Ryann Doelze, and Heather McPherson, and many close aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Gwynne is preceded in death by her son, JD Ryon Lane, her parents Gwynne and Norman Doelze, mother-in-law Bernice Shamers, daughter-in-law Erica Meloni, sisters Lynne Morrison, Joyce Seichepine, and Marsha McPherson, nephews John Rose, David Seichepine, and niece Julie Seichepine.

Memorial Services will be held privately.
