Dear Jackie and Family, I'm so very sorry to hear about my good friend and buddy George passing. I have some great personal memories of our time together at Southco, our many golf outings and trips and many other good times and laughs we shared together (along with Jackie) for more than 30 years. George was always one of my best and closest Southco friends (among many) and I'll miss him------and I know many others will as well! George was indeed a good man, a VERY good man---------and for me that pretty much sums up how I always felt about him and our personal relationship. Rest in Peace My Friend! Bob Matera

Jackie, I was so shocked to hear of George’s passing & couldn’t help but remember all the good times we had visiting you both in Pinehurst. George & I watched Schindler’s List for hours downstairs & he was aghast when he talked about the Forrestal & I called it a boat. He loved watching Jeopardy & I think he was smart enough to have gone on the show. He was a kind, generous man who left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He will be missed!!I hope you are doing well. Darlene
