    Eileen Lucas writes,
George was my manager in Dyes & Textile Chemicals in the 1980's at ICI. He was THE BEST boss I ever had in my entire 34-year career. My husband and I became friends with George and Gert -- and George gave me away when I got married in 1981. George loved his family, so much. He was so proud of his sons, wives, girlfriends, and his grandchildren. We even attended dinner at Johnson & Wales on one of our business trips to the Dighton Plant in MA. George would tell me funny stories about his sister, "Baby D." He'd talk about what "the boys" were up to. We had a group who golfed together, "cocktails" together, ICI Dinners together, the list goes on. I'd visit George at Forewood; and, occasionally, I'd pick him up for lunches out with our former work buddies when he was no longer driving. He had the best sense of humor! I remember we had office walls that didn't go all the way to the ceiling in Dyes & Textiles - George's office and mine were side by side and Don Raper's was behind mine. One day a paper airplane came sailing over from George's office. The next thing - paper airplanes were flying everywhere. Joe Abelson, Director, came back - hearing the commotion. His words: not enough to do? We were cracking up. I also remember George and Gert taking dancing lessons. George would attempt to "show the moves" and would be crashing into hallway filing cabinets. Ah, he was just the best - consistently so, for years and years. Stan and I are so sorry for the loss being felt in the Lanciault family. I was very lucky to have known him and worked for him. What a treasure! Eileen (Bean) and Stan Lucas

I was so very sorry to hear about your Dad. I will miss our regular phone calls. He could always make me laugh when he got talking about being a cheerleader. My sincere sympathy to you all. He often talked about going out to eat with his boys. He was very proud of you all.
