Dorothy Mae Fields

Dorothy Mae Fields, age 85 of Wilmington, Delaware passed away on December 3, 2018.

Dorothy was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. After graduating from Frankford High School she attended Penn State. She married and relocated to Wilmington, DE where she raised her family.

Dorothy worked as a laboratory technician for DuPont for 25 years before her retirement.

She loved all animals, art, vacationing at Ocean City, NJ, gardening and the Phillies.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her daughter Jennifer Christopher, her grandson Anthony Christopher, her granddaughter Catherine Rose and her sister Lillian Fitzpatrick.

She is survived by her daughter Gail Schiffhauer, son Matthew Schiffhauer (Robyn), daughter Kimberly Deane (Brian) of Wilmington, 8 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Funeral Services

Services will be held from Chandler Funeral Home, 2506 Concord Pike, Wilmington on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at 1:30 pm. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 12:30-1:30 pm.
