Donna B. Peters

Donna B. Peters passed away Thursday September 24, 2020 at her home, of cancer at the age of 66. She was predeceased by her father, H. Vernon Baker, Sr. She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey C. Peters, her mother Marion L. Baker, her sisters Debbie Baker Robitaille and Karen Mason, her brother Harry V. Baker Jr, and a niece and numerous nephews, grand-nephews, and great-grand-nieces.

Donna lived all her life in the Newark, DE area. She worked as a dental assistant for thirty-nine years for Dr. Adelchi Fedele DDS, and then for his daughter, Dr. Rebekah Fedele DMD. She most enjoyed working on genealogy and local history research, tending her indoor plants and outdoor gardens, and searching for sea glass at local beaches.

Donna was one the first people I meet when I moved to Roseville Park. We all got to know it each other ice skating on Stanley’s Pond that year. She is the one who introduced me to her sister Debbie. That was the best thing that ever happened to me and I’m still counting my blessings with our life together. Peaceful Blessings

I worked with Donna for many years in the dental office. I always admired how meticulous she was in the office as well as in life. I enjoyed our lunches together after she retired. Sometimes we would discuss things that we weren’t sure about, and by our next lunch date, she had researched eveything about it. I’m so sorry for your loss, Jeff. I know how much you loved each other and depended on each other. Take care of yourself, and please let me know when you have the celebration of life. My condolences to Mrs. Baker and the rest of the family.
