I worked with Diane at the Port Authority for several years. We often worked side-by-side on safety education. We ate lunch together too, usually with our friend Mehry! I was very happy to have found her on Facebook last year and now I am shocked to hear of her death. Diane was a true inspiration to me as someone who really cared about those she taught. She also wasn't afraid to speak up for what she felt was not right or not fair. The world has lost someone very special. We will truly miss her. My heart goes out to the family as I cannot imagine a loss like this at such a young age. I'm glad to know that she has left a part of her in her lovely family.

Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry; I am not there. I did not die. RIP Dearest Diane, Will miss you loads, Mary..
