Daniel Watt Moore

Daniel Watt Moore, age 82, of Greenville, DE, passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2018.

He graduated from Taylor Allderdice High School in Pittsburgh, PA in 1953, and then earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY in 1957.

Mr. Moore served as an Officer in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Newport News (CA-148). He was employed as an engineer in the Sales & Marketing Department at the DuPont Company. He was a member of the Greenville Country Club and the Theta Delta Chi Fraternity.

Mr. Moore was predeceased by his first wife, Patricia S. Moore. He is survived by his wife, Deborah C. Moore; daughters, Linda S. Moore of Locust Valley, NY and Lauren E. Moore of Louisville, KY; son, Scott D. Moore, his wife Colleen and their children Sean, Declan and Kendall Moore of Newtown Square, PA; step-son, Douglas P. Cooke of Ipswich, MA; step-daughters, Holly C. Stafford of Collegeville, PA and Cherie C. Martinez of Greenville, DE; and his cousin, James D. Moore, his wife Amy, and their son J.D. of Pittsburgh, PA.
