Carole Lynn Roysdon

Carole Lynn Roysdon passed away peacefully on Thursday, surrounded by her loving sons.

Born March 13, 1951, in Baltimore, Maryland, Carole was the beloved daughter of James Walter Anderson and Marguerite Ann Anderson (née Augustine).

Carole grew up in Lutherville-Timonium, Maryland, surrounded by her brother and sisters. She graduated from Dulaney Valley High School in 1969 before continuing her education at the University of Maryland.

Carole found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved cooking for those she cared about and was happiest whenever she was near the water. Ocean City, Maryland, and the Delaware beaches were among her favorite places, where she found peace, happiness, and treasured time with those she loved.

Carole and Barry Roysdon shared many years together and, although they later divorced, they remained close and continued to care deeply for one another throughout the years.

Nothing brought Carole more happiness than her family. She was a devoted mother to her two sons, Barry Jr. and Andy, and a proud grandmother to Tyler, Ayden, Jamison, Teddy, and Jack. Her nieces and nephews were also very important to her, and she cherished the relationships she had with each of them.

Carole will be remembered most for her extraordinary kindness. She had a gift for making everyone feel welcome, valued, and loved. Friends, family, and even those who had only recently met her often remarked on her genuine compassion, generosity, and the warmth she showed to everyone. Her gentle spirit and caring heart touched countless lives.

Carole is survived by her sons, Barry Jr. and Andy; her daughter-in-law, Maryclaire; her grandchildren, Tyler, Ayden, Jamison, Teddy, and Jack; her siblings; her beloved nieces and nephews; and many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and grace that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Condolences

Nancy Sangiorgi lit a candle and writes,
Peggy, growing up together I always enjoyed seeing Carole at your house. She would greet me with a smile and a happy hello. She and Suzie shared the downstairs bedroom. Carole would let us watch Love American Style on the tv in that bedroom. She was so kind and patient. I could feel the warmth of her soul. Such a beautiful person inside and out. Now she is in heaven with your parents, watching over you, looking out for you, smiling as always. Much love, Nancy Breiner Sangiorgi
