Bonnie C. Mervine

Bonnie Claire Mervine, age 77, of Claymont, Delaware passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 9, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.

Bonnie was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Bernard E (Dink) and Grace (Hamilton) Derr.  She was the oldest of two children and graduated from Interboro High School in 1961. On May 27, 1967, Bonnie married Harry William (Bill) Mervine in Glenolden, PA.

Bonnie is survived by her husband of 54 years, Bill of Claymont, DE, her sons; Mark Mervine of Wilmington, DE, and Stephen Mervine and wife Kelly of Hockessin, DE, her daughter Joanna Breger and husband Chris of Kennett Square, PA, five grandchildren: Maddy, Sarah, Aidan, Corbin, and Haley, and her brother Bernard E. Derr Jr. (Buddy) and wife June, of Ridley Park, PA.

A memorial  service will be held on Saturday November 27th at 10:30 am at Saint Mark’s Lutheran Church, 501 Duncan Road Wilmington DE, 19809.
