Dear Mike, I had no idea Barb was your sister. Years ago, when i was employed as the PAMII advocate officer in delaware, i met her in my travels. A very educated, experienced and compassionate counselor. Am happy i met her and had a few interactions with her. I truly admired her for her compassion towards the patients we shared. I know she will be missed by the mental health community as a caring, loving practitioner. My condolences to you and your family. I know the pain of loss and have you in my prayers.

    Nancy Albert Halbedl writes,
Nancy Albert Halbedl - Barbie and I were childhood friends growing up in Fairfax. We use to play together and push our baby sisters and brothers in a stroller around the block in lieu of drying supper dishes. We married and went our separate ways only to reunite at lunch about 6 years ago after I moved back to Delaware from New Jersey. We planned to get together again but couldn’t with the pandemic. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Ann Wheeler Bullock lit a candle and writes,
My cousin (Jane Wheeler Fisher) just called me with the news of Barb's passing and I'm so saddened. I knew Barb, mostly, as a dear friend of my sister, Jackie Wheeler Allen, beginning from their years at St. Mary Magdalen School. Barb was a loving friend, always there when Jackie needed someone to talk to----or party with! From my conversations with Jackie over the many years beginning with St. Mary Magdalen School days, I can attest to the fact that Barb was very gifted at being a friend. And Jackie treasured their friendship. My warmest condolences to the Grieco and Pietropaulo famlies, especially to Jack and their daughters.

Mrs Grieco, Had it not been for you I would not be the person I am today. I remember that you had all of us girls at your wedding at St Anthonys church. It takes a special person to care as much as you did. Seton Villa was a nice place to live as a child. May you do for the children in HEAVEN as you did here on EARTH. May your family find peace and I am very sure you will be missed. God bless and watch over all of the people you have touched. At the time my name was Debbie Goodson.

I was so sorry to learn of Barbara's passing. I went to Padua Academy with her (class of '66), and she was definitely one of the most unforgettable people that I have ever met. She was an absolutely brilliant student and had the best personality. She was very funny and could make you laugh until you cried. I am sure she will be missed by her family and so many others. Again, I am so very sorry for your loss.
