Alexander Kish

Alexander Kish, age 84, peacefully passed away in Accent Care Hospice at Christiana Hospital on May 16, 2022.

Born in Miskolc, Hungary, Alex immigrated to the United States in 1956 during the Hungarian Revolution.  After spending two years in Korea where he proudly served in the U.S. Army, Alex was honored to become a naturalized U.S. citizen in 1962.

I think of Alex often. We had a long friendship at New Castle Hundred Archers and he will be missed. New Castle Hundred was a better club because he was a member.

Whenever I think of good people I have known, Alex always comes to mind. I first met Alex in the early 80's. He was one of a few people keeping a small archery club going and working to attract new members. He was always positive and helpful to new archers. He was a core member as New Castle Hundred Archers advanced to the club it is now. I always enjoyed shooting and also fishing with Alex especially in the "old days".

I always enjoyed talking to Alex, seemed to be the first to say hello and chat when you got to the club, hunting was always the conversation. I have been away from the archery club for some time now but my Buddy Bob always told me I saw Alex today , he was asking about you. Alex was a real person, a good person and he will be missed by many.
