Glenn A. Suter

Glenn A. Suter passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 surrounded by loved ones.

Glenn was born and raised in Chester, PA. After graduating from high school, Glenn joined the United States Air Force. After serving, he became a Chester firefighter for almost 18 years, something that he took great pride being part of. Glenn was an active member of the American Legion Post 926 in Aston, PA.

You always knew when Glenn was around. He had a larger than life personality that kept everyone on their toes and always laughing. Glenn was always known to be loud, opinionated, and always right. He also had the biggest heart, always willing to help anyone with anything. Glenn was an avid sports lover. He enjoyed watching Penn State football as well as the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers (especially when they were winning). In the summer time, he enjoyed going to the beach, fishing, and taking his boat out. He also enjoyed playing pool, darts, golf, and hosting card games and Fantasy Football Drafts at his house. Glenn especially loved spending quality time with his four-legged best buddies, Luke, Cali, and Storm.

Glenn is survived by his wife of 15 years, Nancy; his stepsons, Nick (Ashley) Tusio and Joe (Jessica) Tusio; two granddaughters, Adalynn and Riley (expected late spring); three sisters, Mary, Michelle, and Brenda; one nephew and eight nieces. He is predeceased by his parents, William and Eleanore; brother, Bill; brother in laws, Jack and Kent; and nephew, Tom.

The family would like to thank the staff at Wilmington Hospital for their love, compassion, and support towards Glenn during his time there.

A visitation will be held from 10 AM to 12 PM, followed by a service at 12 PM on Monday, April 27th at Chandler Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2506 Concord Pike Wilmington, DE 19803. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations being made to the American Kidney Fund.
