Walter T. Moore

Walter T. Moore, age 72 of Delaware City passed away peacefully on Friday Nov. 24 after battling leukemia for almost 2 years.

Walter was a sheet metal worker at Local 19. He owned and operated C & M Fuel Oil and he managed Pockets Liquor Store and T.G. Mugs Bar. Recently he drove a cab. He was a member of the Rod & Gun Club, the Terrace Athletic Club as well as many more organizations. He had a love hate relationship with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Walter was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Mildred Moore, his son Jason Moore, brother Robert Moore and sister Joanne Spect.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years Mary Creswell-Moore, his brother David Moore, his children James Moore, Scott Moore and Kelly Moore; his 4 grandchildren Brianna Moore, Brandon Moore, Skylar Saganich, Michael Moore; 3 step granddaughters Alyshia Wyka, Melissa Wyka, Alle Parag and 6 great grandchildren and his Aunt Irene Battes.

There will be no services held as Mr. Moore requested his remains be donated to medical science. To his family and friends, “Every day is a holiday”.
