Thomas Owen Meehan

Thomas Owen Meehan, born in November of 1960, in Montour Falls, NY was sent to his eternal home on May 16, 2025, due to a brief and sudden illness. He was the proud father of two boys, Cory Thomas and Jesse Daniel and the beloved son of Thomas Meehan and the late Mary Lurcock Meehan.

He is survived by his loving brothers Jeffrey (Patti J), Robert (Patti R), and sister Jacqueline, and the mother of his children, Wendy Arner Meehan.  He also leaves behind nieces and nephews who adored him dearly, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends near and far who will continue to cherish the memories they had with him.  Tom was a 1979 Honeoye Falls-Lima graduate and received his bachelor’s degree from Rochester Institute of Technology as a Mechanical Engineer.  He retired after a long career as a engineer.

TO/Tom, as he was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, humor and his love for his family. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him. We ask that you remember him for the way he lived his life, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

    To Tom’s children, to Tom, Rob, Jeff, Jacqueline and their families. I was so very sorry to hear of the passing of your father, son and brother. I remember so vividly the day he was born and how excited his parents were. I know his name was Thomas Owen because that is how his mom always referred to him with me, my Aunt Jane and Uncle Pat always called him Thomas and I also heard TO occasionally.
