Reade was sharp minded and kind. I met him donating things to the White Elephant sale. Such an inspiration to see him and interact with him. Thank you Reade for all your years of service to the residents of Cokesbury.

Mr. Tompson was such a wonderful man. I was lucky enough to be his dental hygienist the past 5 years and I truly enjoyed every visit chatting and laughing with him. Our birthdays were exactly 1 day and 70 years apart and he never missed the chance to call the office and wish me a happy birthday. His mind was so sharp, and he was so kind. He was by far my favorite patient and I have a picture of him and I in my operatory at work. I will never forget him and I will always miss catching up with my buddy. I know he loved his family dearly and my condolences go out to them at this time. He always told me that he was extremely happy with the life that he has lived and felt very blessed. He was such an inspiring man, and I will keep his memory near and dear to my heart.

Reade was a very dear friend and we talked just 3 weeks ago. He remembered everything in detail. We are so glad for all the visits and talks we have had with him and Sarah over the years. They taught us to dream. We will miss him very much

Charlotte Pye lit a candle and writes,
So many warm memories of Reade and Sarah as my back door parents in Windsor Hills. Reade was always so kind, helpful and welcoming. He was a wonderful neighbor and friend to my parents, especially to my mother after my Dad passed. I enjoyed the visits with Reade at Cokesbury, often in the company of our youngest family members. I'm sorry that my last last visit was right before Covid lockdown and that I was unable to see him one last time as we started to resume a semi normal life. Reade is home now, in the glory of his Lord and with his beloved Sarah and family who have gone before. My prayers and blessings to all his family. May you have joy in your memories as I have in mine.

Charlotte Pye speaks my mind. I grew up in Windsor Hills and have fond memories of the Thomason’s, many tied to High Point Pool. A fine man who left the world a better place for having lived in it.
