Peter V. Czyzewski

Peter Victor Czyzewski, age 52, of Wilmington, Delaware passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026 with his wife by his side.

Peter was born in Brooklyn, New York, son of Judith Castaneda Czyzewski and the late  Edward Czyzewski. During his Childhood he was known for his big heart, because he would feed stray animals and protect other kids from being bullied. He was awarded two scholarships in high school, one for his academics and the other for his drawings in art. He was very good at playing sports and was an avid fan of his home teams, the N.Y. Giants and the Yankees.

He moved to Newark, Delaware in 2004 where he met his wife, Jessica, and they were together for 22 years until his passing. Peter was a big personality and had a great sense of humor.  Everything he could not get done on earth, he will do so much more in heaven. He held the Lord close to his heart. He will be so missed, rest so peacefully “buggy”.

He is predeceased by his father, Edward Czyzewski. Peter is survived by his wife, Jessica, his mother, Judith, his brother Edward and sister-in-law, Tammy, his brother-in-law Joel Sullivan, his nephews Andy Sullivan and Edward Czyzewski, his nieces Allison Henderson and Jessalynn Sullivan.
