Peter R. Corradi

Peter R. Corradi, age 79, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 31, 2017, surrounded by his family after a long illness.

Born in the Bronx, NY, Peter was the son of the late Peter and Helena Corradi. A graduate of The College of Charleston (South Carolina), Peter started his career as a chemist, was promoted several times in production supervision and management, and was an instructor of statistics and quality control. He ended his working life as a quality consultant to several companies.

Peter is survived by his wife of 58 years, Vera Pinckney, the love of his life since he first met her in high school. Peter is survived by his four daughters, Helena (Kevin) Rychlicki, Teresa Gagnon, Lucia (Mike) Egan, and Emily Locke. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Ann Rychlicki, Emma Gagnon, Trey Gagnon, Rose Locke, James Locke, and great-granddaughter Tara Goerlich.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Christiana Hospital and Seasons Hospice for the wonderful care provided to Peter.

Funeral Services

Family and friends are invited to the visitation at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 4701 Weldin Road, Wilmington, DE 19803 on Friday, January 5 from 12:30-1:30PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow with interment at St. Joseph’s on the Brandywine immediately after.
