Pauline E. Fauser

Pauline Evelyn Des Rochers Fauser, age 87, went home to be with the Lord on May 2, 2017 surrounded by her seven children.

Pauline was a graduate of Boston University where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy. She later received her commission as an officer in the United States Navy. She served during the Korean War at the Philadelphia Naval Hospital where she met her husband, David K. Fauser, who was a Marine Corps First Lieutenant.

She survived David, who died in 2006. She is survived by her children: Martha F. Brady (Robert); David K. Fauser, Jr.; Karl R. Fauser; Ralph G. Fauser (Xiao Li); Laura F. Williams (Edward); Anna-Marie F. Smith (Michael); and Kurt K. Fauser; her sister, Rita McClure, of Texas; 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Ronald McDonald House of Delaware at 1901 Rockland Rd., Wilmington, DE 19803, where she volunteered for many years.

Funeral Services

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017 from 2pm – 4pm at Chandler Funeral Home, 7230 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin, DE 19707. Pauline will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery, alongside her husband, David, at a later date.
