Nancy L. Beakley

Nancy L. Beakley, 72, passed away on Sunday December 31, 2017 after a long illness.

She enjoyed vacations at the Jersey shore with her family and close friends as well as entertaining those close to her. Nancy always lived life to the fullest. She will be remembered as an extraordinary wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Nancy adored her grandchildren and the happiness they brought to her life.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Sue Nelson. Nancy is survived by her husband Herb, daughter Michelle (Jason), two grandchildren Wyatt and Brynnley, sisters Greta Ridgway and Jackie Orange and a brother, James Nelson (Faye).

Funeral services will be held on Monday January 8, 2018 at 11:00 am at CHANDLER FUNERAL HOME, 2506 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE where friends may visit from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Her burial will take place in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Millville, NJ.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Delaware Hospice for the care they provided. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nancy’s name to Delaware Hospice, 16 Polly Drummond Center, 2^nd Floor, Newark, DE 19711.
