Condolences

    Sara and John writes,
I can't seem to write down in words all that Lou meant in my life without tearing up. She was a part of my best memories of childhood, as one of a group of my parents' friends that gathered so often over the years. As a young girl, it was thrilling to see everyone arrive for a party all dressed up and then hear all of the lively conversation and the favorite stories. She and Frank hosted many New Years Day feasts, Memorial Day or July 4 or Labor Day picnics, beach gatherings complete with killer daiquiris, and crab feasts too numerous to count. She was kind and generous to awkward young people and a devoted friend of many years to my mother Barbara. I can still hear her singing and playing our piano at one of our parties - she knew how to enjoy life and left a lasting impact on so many people. We send the whole Gorsuch family our sincere condolences and hope that all of the memories of good times will sustain you in your grief. John and Sara Haigh
