Mary L. Poole

Mary L. Poole, of Wilmington, Delaware passed away January 10, 2022 at the age of 90.

Born in Delta, Pennsylvania, she attended the University of Delaware and graduated from the Johns Hopkins Hospital School of Nursing. For 23 years she was the Nurse Director of the Delaware Campus Health Center of Widener University. For 4 years she was the Nurse Coordinator of the Claymont Health Service of the Claymont Community Center.

Mary Louise is survived by her 4 children: Harvey H. Poole, III and his wife Diana; Michael G. Poole; Julie L. Poole; Jan C. McFarland and her husband Joseph; and one grandchild, Kristin Taylor Mack all of the Wilmington area. She is also survived by a sister in law Margaret L. Sidwell of Colorado. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Harvey H. Poole, Jr., and her two brothers, Charles W. Sidwell and Dr. Harvey P. Sidwell.
