Mary Elizabeth Concannon

Mary Elizabeth Concannon, age 88, of Wilmington, DE and formerly of Southwest Philadelphia passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the Wilmington Hospital.

Mary was born in Catasagua, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late John Phillips and Sophia Gondek Phillips. Mary attended the Hallahan Girls Catholic High School. She was a homemaker, mom and volunteer. She was a member of the Church of the Holy Child, and a member of their Lazarus Committee for many years. Mary was also a member of the Widener PTA.

Mary is predeceased by her husband, James P. Concannon, Sr, son, Michael J. (Barbara) Concannon, daughter, Catherine Delia Blaney(Francis) and son-in-law Joe Rzucidlo. She is survived by her children, James P. Concannon, Jr. (Wendy) of Philadelphia, PA, Mary Kay Rzucidlo of Trainer, PA, Patrick J. Concannon(Maryrita) of Pennsville, NJ, Martin J. Concannon of Pike Creek, DE, Edward P. Concannon of Wilmington, DE, 10 Grandchildren, 7 Great-grandchildren, 2 Great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
