Marshall Lee Lowe, Jr.

Marshall Lee Lowe, Jr., age 45, of Union City, NJ, formerly of Wilmington, DE, passed away on January 2, 2018.

Born in San Pedro, CA he was the son of Patricia (nee Crossdale) Manley and the late Marshall Lee Lowe, Sr.

He was a graduate of Brandywine High School. For many years, he was the General Manager for Darden Restaurants, Inc., of which he managed many of their restaurants in the area. He was actually sent to Italy by them and trained to become a Chef. More recently, he was offered a great position as the General Manager of the Ruby Tuesday’s Flagship Restaurant in New York City. Through his many years in the restaurant industry, he received many awards for excellence. 

Marshall enjoyed music, especially bands like Keane, Coldplay, and Gavin Degraw, playing his guitar, singing, dancing, skateboarding, basketball, traveling around the country, but most of all he enjoyed doing anything with his children.

In addition to his mother Patricia Manley, he is survived by his children Evan Januzweick, Ocean Gibson, Ireland Gibson, Gavin Gibson, granddaughter Belle Januzweick, his sisters Patricia Lowe, Stacy Bianco, her husband James, brothers Michael Lowe, Jason Lowe, grandparents Rudolph George Crossdale Sr. and Hermine Theresa Crossdale, his uncle Rudolph George Crossdale Jr. and his children, his aunt Nordia Crossdale and her children, his aunt Dorothy DeLeon and her children, his uncle Michael Crossdale, sister-in-law Linda Brasberger, her husband James, nieces and nephews Katie Brasberger, Ian Lowe, Lauren Lowe, Franklin Hoyle, Jason Lowe, Jr., and Jasmine Lowe.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or to the Shriners Hospitals.

 

Funeral Services

A viewing will be held Wednesday January 10, 2018 from 6:00-8:00PM at Chandler Funeral Home, 2506 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE. A second viewing will be held on Thursday January 11 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 2313 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE, from 10:00-11:00AM followed by his service at 11:00AM. Interment will be at St. Joseph on the Brandywine.
