Margaret Ruth Fasig

Margaret Ruth Fasig, age 78, of Wilmington, DE passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017.

 Margaret, known as “Peggy” to her family and friends, was born in 1939 in Cincinnati, OH, daughter of the late Margaret Alberta and Byron Pribble Yelton. She graduated from Walnut Hills High School and Miami (Ohio) University. Peggy was a good musician, excellent teacher and a great mom to her only child, Kris Wolff.

 Peggy’s beautiful soprano voice helped her star in various musicals. She also sang minor lead roles in operas in Wilmington, she sang with other choirs and even went on tour in Europe with a quartet.

 Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Edgar, their daughter Kris Wolff, a sister Kaye Dickston, and several nieces and nephews.

 A Special Thank You to all the caring staff at both Wilmington Hospital and Sunrise Assisted Living for the exceptional care you gave us all.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to the Lutheran Community Services, 2809 Baynard Blvd., Wilmington, DE 19802.
