Lynn T. Jackson

Lynn T. (Mastrocola) Jackson, age 69, of Avondale, Pennsylvania, died peacefully at home after spending precious time with her children and grandchildren and in the loving arms of her devoted husband, Andrew (Wes) Jackson, Jr., on Saturday, December 20, 2025. There will never be another lady like her in our lives, and we are so grateful that she was ours—even though our time with her was too short.

Born in 1956 in Norristown, Pennsylvania, Lynn was the daughter of Gasper and Gloria Jean (Bernstiel) Mastrocola and the eldest of four siblings. Lynn valued family above all and cherished tradition. She was beautiful and intelligent, but most importantly, she was selfless and determined.

For over 40 years, Lynn and the love of her life, Wes, worked together side by side at their automotive repair shop and built a beautiful life for their family at home. Even after being together for so long, Wes still called Lynn his “forever girlfriend,” and they never spent more than two nights away from each other.

Lynn and Wes enjoyed traveling to their second home in Florida—Lynn’s happy place— where they golfed in the mornings; lunched at her favorite spot by the pool in the afternoons; and met friends for happy hours or dinners in the evenings. However, her heart was always with her family.

Though Lynn was petite in stature and incredibly sweet in nature, she was fiercely protective of those she loved, especially her two girls, Jennifer and Michele, her sons-in-law, Charles and Amit, and her beloved grandchildren: Madelyn, Jay, and Lila. She truly believed her grandchildren hung the moon in the night sky, and in turn, they loved their Nonna endlessly. Nothing brought Lynn more pride than watching the three of them on the field, the court, at a recital, or beginning a new adventure at graduation. She was always cheering loudly and bursting with pride. On any given day, you could find Lynn playing cards or a board game with them around the kitchen table. At the holidays, Nonna and her little Christmas Crew baked hundreds of cookies to share with family and friends and built gingerbread houses. In the summer, Lynn treasured taking her family on wonderful vacations; we only wish we had more with her. And as the seasons changed, Lynn always made sure to buy new raincoats and winter gear for her grandbabies; she never wanted them to be wet or cold. She was the ultimate caregiver, always worried about everyone else. Her worry was love, and her love was unconditional.

For almost 14 years, Lynn fought cancer courageously with a firm resolve and quiet strength that is both inspirational and heart-wrenching. And she did it for us—for one more trip to Florida with Wes; for one more holiday with Jennifer, Charles, Michele, and Amit; and for one more moment with Madelyn, Jay, and Lila. She is the center of our family, and we will honor her in the way we love and care for one another.

My memories of Linney (what we called her ) are many. She was my cousin and we would go bowling in the the bowling alley a few blocks away and having sleep overs in the house by the railroad tracks, I remember the sound of those trains. Then they moved to the the big house and remember the black walnuts that we would collect. All the Christmas eves at Grandma's and the Easter celebration and food. You were an awesome mother and grandmother and you fault an incredible battle, may you always rest in peace and know you made a difference in our lifes.
