Lorraine Goodrich Simonton

Lorraine Goodrich Simonton, 82, of Wilmington, Delaware, died peacefully on April 22, 2018, in the company of family and friends.

Also known as Lolly, she was born in 1935, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Hunter Goodrich and Mary Hackney Goodrich. She graduated from Madeira School in McLean, Virginia and Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York.

Predeceased by her beloved husband, Fagan Hull Simonton, she is survived by her two children, Shelley Evans, of Cambridge, Massachusetts, Lloyd T. B. Evans, of Stockton, New Jersey; two step-children, Ward Simonton, of Brownfield, Maine, and Sissie McMacken, of Naples, Florida; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service will take place at the Hagley Soda House, 298 Buck Rd., Wilmington, DE on May 19, 2018 at 11:00AM.
