As children we wrote letters back and forth to each other and I proudly wore her hand me down clothes! I remember visiting her in Middletown. She and her friend Roxy would show me all the latest dance moves in her basement. My mother, Norma, adored Linda and enjoyed her many visits to her home in Rehoboth. Linda and I shared a love of flowers. I tried to send her a new and different amaryllis each year at Christmas time. I will always think of her when I am gardening. Linda showed us all the meaning of courage in her battle. She “has fought the good fight, she has run the race to the finish, she has kept the faith, now there is in store for her the crown of righteousness which the Lord will award to her” Rest In Peace sweet Linda, I will miss you.

So sad to hear that Linda finally had to give up her fight. I had the pleasure to work with her for many years. She was a wonderful, sweet colleague and friend. I remember how she proudly showed us around Longwood Gardens during one of our visits to the Wilmington office and how she loved the chocolates and "stroopwafels" I would bring for her from The Netherlands. Dear Linda, I hope you'll be surrounded with flowers and chocolates in heaven and your family will find the strength to continue without you in all the loving memories you have made together.

I met Linda at ballroom dance lessons. She was quiet with a nice smile. Linda danced well but was reserved about demonstrating her dance skills which became of point of amusement in dance class. She was always kind to everyone and was very easy to talk with.

Linda was a wonderful teammate of mine for many years in DuPont's Specialty Fiber Division. Aside from being an excellent performer in all phases of her assignment (dealing with customers, our Lycra XA plants, and marketing), her gracious personality and ready smile always brightened our days! What a loss to all who were lucky enough to work with her! Rest in Peace, Linda, ………….Ardie Emery
